She/They | Mex-American Artist

Raised in Raleigh, North Carolina; Sofia discovered her love for art while watching Disney's The Lion King and her love for animation when watching Pixar's Cars. Sofia wanted to work in the world of animation, developing stories that would connect with others in the way it connected with her. With the support of her family, Sofia received her BFA in Media Arts & Animation from The Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham in 2016. She specializes in traditional/digital illustrations, character designs, story development, and 2D digital animations. Sofia has worked for studios such as Roger, Shoguns Entertainment, BreakIron Animation Studios and individual clients.

Currently based in Raleigh, North Carolina; Sofia spends their spare time with her dog, Eris, and enjoys watching animated films/shows.
